Back when this project was rebooted in 2018, someone asked if it meant I would start writing again. I was shocked and immediately responded with "I've already said everything I want to say". Of course, inspiration struck even before the first EP was released in the form of "The Smile". Now, after completing 2 EPs of the original material, I've been able to shift focus to the present and say what I need to in the form of these 5 tracks.

"Cavity" was the first. This rendition of a personal favorite by Christian Death really means a lot to me. It is my attempt to convey an element of the original I've always felt as being somewhat understated. R.I.P. Rozz Williams. I'd like to think he'd appreciate this version.

Next was "Purity". This track came together quickly as it was very inspired.

"Submotion" is what happens after years of obsessing on strategic thinking skills while living in a survival mindset. One wonders where all the genuine emotion went only to find it in sleep. No longer is there a need to distinguish between nightmare and dream; it's all the same. Any and all emotion experienced in this state is raw, genuine, and addictive. The dream becomes everything.

Still in a particular frame of mind, I found myself writing "The Coming Storm". The lyrics really capture the essence of this project and pay tribute to everything I struggle with. It feels good to have hit the nail on this particular head.

Finally, just like "Cavity", I wanted to re-express "Purity" in order to zero in on a particular POV. This one came together very fast.
